Thigh-Lift Surgery

Your appearance is important to you, and you make efforts to look your best. You exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet and may have achieved significant weight loss, well done! If as a result of weight loss your thighs have changed shape, have become loose and the skin sags, it probably effects your self-image and your satisfaction with your appearance.
Thigh lift surgery is suitable if your thighs contain fat deposits and skin folds. This surgery sculpts and shapes the contours of the thighs, removes excess skin and fat tissue and produces a firmer and smoother look.

About the Procedure

Congratulations! You have lost weight. You are probably proud of yourself and rightly so. This means that your appearance is important to you, your health is in the forefront of your mind, and you make every effort to take care of a healthy and toned body.
Even if you have maintained a steady weight for a long time, you may still face dealing with troublesome excess skin and stretch marks that develop mainly in the buttocks and back of the thighs. These conditions may upset you, and is understandable and you should not compromise on the natural and youthful look you deserve.
It does not make sense that after all this effort you still do not feel comfortable wearing shorts and a swimsuit…and wearing short and flattering clothing remains a dream.
Beyond aesthetics, your thighs may rub together and cause a rash or fungal infection resulting in discomfort while walking.
Thigh lift surgery is a great solution for achieving sculpted and toned thighs, with a permanent, natural, contoured appearance.
The purpose of the surgery is to remove excess skin and reshape the thigh area until a firm look is achieved. However, it is important to note that this surgery leaves scars.

The risks associated with thigh lift surgery are low, but as with any surgery they do exist, and I will share all the necessary information with you during our consultation.
The surgery is considered low-risk, however, during the healing process there may be bleeding, fluid accumulation, there may be failure to bond in the incision area, asymmetry or delayed healing of the incisions.
Other risks include cardiac conditions, venous thrombosis or pulmonary embolism.
The incidence of necrosis and loss of parts of the skin of the thighs or wide and thickened scars is more prevalent among smokers.
In rare cases there may be hypersensitivity in the area or asymmetry between the thighs.
It is important to note that recovery from this type of surgery is long, but the results are good and produce a long-lasting result.
